In WaItInG..

I said to my soul, be still, and wait without hope

For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without love,

For love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet faith

But the faith and the love and the hope are all in the waiting.

Wait without thought, for you are not ready for thought:

So the darkness shall be the light, and the stillness the dancing.

  2. What if one night is preceded by another? A moment comes when even despair dissipates; a radiant glow of beauty from somewhere touches your soul. The sadness doesn't subsides but shines with a golden glow of emotions, well somewhat like a ripened apple with all it's red basking in the light of setting sun. Nothing changes, life doesn't become hunky dory. But a magical stillness arrives.
This is my favourite quote from Illiot. Incidently, the female protagonist of Agyena's नदी के द्वीप has quoted these lines. She is emotionally superlative. The kind of soul every man yearns for but perhaps finds only in books.
